ABOUT
South Africa... A large and beautiful country with many different things to see and do. Maybe you have already been there, maybe not.

In this project you are going to find out the many different things about South Africa on your own. You will discover the amazing landscape and climate but also learn more about the people, cities and culture.
How?
You will use the skills you have learned last year to make a complete travelguide about South Africa. It will contain charts, information, pictures en much more!

So let's get started shall we!?
Read this before you get started...
Getting started
Groups

This project will be made in groups of 3 or 4 people. These groups will be made by your teacher.

Listen to each other and try to work together instead of solo.

Any problems? Go to your teacher together and work it out!
Getting information
Websites / books / Atlas
The internet is a great way of getting information. If you get stuck on the 'Geography-Parts', go to EXTRA HELP on this website. Your teacher gathered all kinds of information here to help you (for example about the geography skills!)

Don't forget to use your textbook and the Atlas too! That information is almost never wrong to use... And your teacher will love it!
The finished product
What you should hand in...

You and your group are going to make a 'travelguide'. Don't worry. You are not going to write a whole 'Lonely planet' yourself.

Think about those small magazines / folders you can read with a little bit of information about a country or place!

What should be in your travelguide? Read below to see everything you need!

7. Extra / bonus information

A good project always has a little bit extra.
Get creative!

Tips for when you don't know anything:
What should you really visit when you are there?
Any cool things? Maybe some warnings ... What should you not do when you are there...

8. Tips and tricks...
How to score a good grade? Here is some 'secret information' from the teachers themselves!...

1. Take care of your project. If it is dirty of wrinkled it might lower your mark.

2. Don't do things the last moment (duh!). Us teachers know when someone put work in their project or when it is done at 23:00 at night after gaming...
3. Ask, ask ... and ask!
Don't know if something is right? Need help? Your teachers like to help (yes we really do)!
